This study aimed to determine the influence of the group investigation learning model assisted with visual media toward activities and learning outcomes of students. This study was a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control design. The population and sample of this study were all students in class V at SDN 25 Banawa year study 2016-2017 consisting of two classes. Both classes, VA and VB consisted of 30 students each. Class VA was applied as the experimental class, and
more » ... VB as the control class. Data analysis of activities and learning outcomes showed that both groups were distributed normally and homogeneous. The result of the hypothesis test showed that the group investigation learning model assisted with visual media influenced significantly with α = 0.05 toward both learning activities and learning outcomes of students. This study concludes that activities and learning outcomes of students using the group investigation learning model assisted with visual media is better than using the conventional learning model.
