Teaching History at undergraduate level in Argentina varies in different universities because since 1908 each institution and teaching staff is free to design course syllabi and curriculum. In this paper, we analyze the process of teaching Latin American History in a basic core course to a large number of learners of different majors in Humanities and Social Sciences at the National University of Tucumán (northwest Argentina) within a teaching approach centered on educational practices.
