We investigate phase transitions due to excited Q-balls. As excited Q-balls have angular momentum, a magnetic field can be generated if one considers gauged Q-balls. Based on the course of the phase transition we estimate the strength of the magnetic field and then we find that it might be the origin of observed magnetic fields of astrophysical objects such as galaxies and clusters of galaxies.doi:10.1103/physrevd.58.107301 fatcat:mgb32fbabnaunfrwf6n5mpwrgy
