The purpose of this article is to examine the politicization of the European issue in the aftermath of the Eurozone crisis, with a focus on the impact on individual opinions and voting at the national and supranational levels. We begin by reviewing the current state of knowledge on the significance of the Eurozone crisis for EU politicization, before summarizing each paper and its contribution.
