2020
Archive Of Case Reports
Autonomic neuropathies causing gastrointestinal complications are uncommon. Case Presentation: We report a case in which autoimmune autonomic enteric neuropathy was associated with myasthenia gravis and thymoma. Conclusion: Autoimmune autonomic enteric neuropathies are exceedingly rare, with only 10 cases reported in the literature to date. All have been associated with thymoma. We describe the prevalence of associated antibodies, summarise the previous cases and treatment received.
