AbstractThe dynamics of high-dimensional, nonlinear systems drive biology at all scales, from gene regulatory networks to ecosystems. Microbial ecosystems ('microbiomes') exemplify such systems due to their richness and the small length- and time-scales of complex ecological and evolutionary dynamics.
