and Objectives:Palatal muscle resection (PMR) is a surgical method that treats retropalatal airway obstruction. Sometimes elongated uvula can aggravate obstructive symptom in obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) patients. Uvulectomy is usually done in such cases to resolve the obstructive effect of the uvula.
