In Alba County, Diabrotica virgifera virgifera was first reported in 2000 and due to rapid multiplication of pests and excessive increase in the number of larvae and symptoms pointed to "goose-neck". Since 2007 on the experimental field located in the village tartaric was taken in the study 6 hybrids created at research resort Turda namely TSU 181, T215, T228, T Favorit, T201, T213.
