The study investigates the stability of novel aroylhydrazones containing susceptible to hydrolysis hydrazone group at conditions close to physiological. Two methoxy-derived hydrazones (3-methoxysalicylaldehyde benzoylhydrazone-3M and 4-methoxysalicylaldehyde benzoylhydrazone-4M) were dissolved in different buffer solutions (pH 2.0, 7.4 and 9.0) at 37 °C and aliquot samples were drawn at definite time intervals.
