The purpose of this study is to determinate the value of the Standard Drink Unit in Spain, the alcohol average content of a common drink. We describe the methodology employed at the spot research and the results based on the regional differences of the Spanish SDU. The value of the Spanish SDU is 10 g that is equivalent to a single consumption of wine or beer and a half consumption of liquors. The geographic differences are clear.
