This chapter assesses the hydraulic capacity of the Chartiers Creek Interceptor of the Allegheny County Sanitary Authority (ALCOSAN) to convey dry and wet weather flows under the existing and anticipated ultimate future development conditions. The assessment was performed by developing a hydraulic model of the interceptor system using U.S. EPA's computer program Storm Water Management Model (SWMM).
