Causes of rotational speed difference in individual ultrasonic micro motor of standing wave type are experimentally investigated by using five motor sets : rotors, stators and springs. The following results are obtained : ( 1 ) The rotational speed difference in each motor is mainly caused by the difference in circumferential speed of projections in each stator.
