FINITE ELEMENT SOLUTION OF POISSON'S EQUATION IN A HOMOGENEOUS MEDIUM

In this paper, we proposed a Finite element method for obtaining the numerical solution of non-linear Poisson's equation in a homogeneous medium with appropriate initial and boundary conditions. This method is based on the approximation of the derivatives of the unknown functions involved in the differential equation at the mess point of the solution domain.
