ASYNCHRONY OF OVULATION AND MATING IN MICE TREATED WITH GONADOTROPHINS
1970
Reproduction
Adult mice, chosen without regard to the stage of the oestrous cycle, were injected with pmsg. This treatment resulted in ovulation in 77\m=.\9% of the animals, within 20 hr. The animals, however, did not mate in this time period. fsh or lh also induced ovulation in this time period. These results are discussed in their relationship to normal ovulation and mating behaviour in the mouse.
