ABSTRACT The study aimed at the ability of the regression model to predict teaching competences through independent variables (university degree, specialization, years of experience, degree of proficiency test) for the teachers of the initial grades in the province of Tathleeth, and as the sample of the study consisted of (40) teachers of the initial grades in province of Tathleeth, and through the questionnaire of teaching competences consisted of (37) paragraphs distributed to four teaching competences which are: the adequacy of planning, adequacy of implementation, adequacy of evaluation and adequacy of the treatment of the initial grades, and the results of the study found that the teaching competences of the teachers in the initial grades of Tathleeth governorate is high level, and there is a direct relationship between teaching competences and variable years of experience, at the level of indication,01, and the lack of a relationship between teaching competences and variable specialization, university degree, degree of proficiency testing and regression model of teaching competences has the ability to predict independent variable (years of experience), and that the teaching competences of the initial grades teachers can be predicted through the variable years of experience, and the estimated regression equation for predicting teaching competences is: Non-standard slope equation: y=161.076+4.658
