In this editorial, I am discussing two of the most common myths related to publishing in top journals. A myth is defined as a traditional story about historical events that serves to unfold part of the world view of a people or explain a practice, belief, or natural phenomenon. Opinions to elaborate on this editorial were gathered from 54 researchers located in both developed and developing countries.
