ABSTRACT: Allergy is considered as one of the major health problems across the globe. Allergic diseases mainly cause by allergic proteins; it is known as allergens that produce an abnormally potent immune response in which the immune system recognised antigens and causes the allergic reaction. Advantages in Omics technologies such as genomics, proteomics play a crucial role in the field of allergology. Allergen bioinformatics comprises a large amount of data stored in allergen databases. Research advances in prediction methods have been considered as an indispensable component in the area of immunoinformatic. Several allergy data are already available in the databases, and it classified in such a way that can be used as trained data in different computational prediction methods. Besides, Machine learning-based approaches have been widely used for predicting various aspects of protein function. The prediction of IgE-binding epitopes ‎extremely significant in the development of newer and effective strategies for diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases. Bioinformatics approach demonstrates an exceptional understanding of allergic diseases and positively influence future research in the field.
