In this work, the effectiveness of methods for the selective extraction of platinum, palladium and rhodium is determined, and attention is also paid to the methods of dissolution, reduction of platinum metals and methods of their purification from various impurities. ... m with the use of selective methods suitable for each metal separately with simultaneous combinations of hydrometallurgy and pyrometallurgical technologies was developed. Hydrometallurgical purification of the obtained powdered palladium, platinum and rhodium with the treatment of corresponding formic, citric and nitric acid has been developed. As a result, the developed technologies have achieved the possibility of selective isolation of refined platinum metals from the following composition: palladium powder with a mass fraction of at least 99.50-99.90%; platinum powder with a purity of 99.90%; rhodium powder with a purity of 99.90%. The end-to-end extraction of all platinoids is more than 80% from the manmade waste of the copper plant.
