Fitness, at least, is seen from the ability to return to its initial state. One way to see if a person has recovered or is getting adequate rest is by monitoring their pulse. When the pulse has decreased, the intensity/load received by the body has decreased. This process is known as recovery. The body's ability to recover is an indicator of the ability to be able for restarting activities with a certain intensity. The study aimed to see the acceleration of recovery that occurs up to 6 minutes

Exercises performed with triceps with a load of 27.2 kg, rowing 20.4 kg, benchpress 20 kg, and leg press 54 kg with maximum repetitions and four sets—pulse measurement within 20 seconds. The results showed that there was a change in the initial pulse rate. After 48 and in the sixth minute, it becomes 33. Based on this data, it can be seen that there is an acceleration of recovery during the six-minute process, which is quite fast, up to 15 beats per 20 seconds.
