Black Africans In Barcelona, Spain: An Exploration of Integration Into Catalan Society·

By examining the experiences ofboth newly arrived and long-term African immigrants, it is possible to give an account ofSub-Saharans in Barcelona, the urban center of the autonomous community of Catalonia and second largest city in Spain. Using snowball sampling, I conducted a total of twenty interviews, twelve formal interviews with an open-ended questionnaire and eight interviews without the use ofa questionnaire.
