IV Proposal of a successful model in logistics management for medium-sized companies in the plastic sector of Lima, Peru, based on process management and good engineering practices in the sector ABSTRACT Within the development of Peru, as a country, a recurrent problem that is poverty has been identified and various measures have been taken to reduce it. In order to mitigate this problem it is essential that the country's growth be carried out in a sustainable manner, and goes beyond just proposing short-term plans that represent solutions when the situation is already extreme, it is necessary to evaluate long-term projects but also in set. Consistent with this panorama, in recent years, there has been the emergence of a large number of micro and small companies that disappear in less time compared with medium-sized companies, ie, small businesses fail to develop and be sustainable over time in their desire to become medians, due to a series of limitations that are presented to them. Within the problem it has been analyzed that a possible base point for continuous development would be represented by a more consolidated business sector. Therefore, this research project aims to propose a logistics management model for medians in the plastics sector (a sector that contributes a high percentage to other productive sectors) through process management. For the development of this model, logistic tools will be used, as well as a database that contains information on the current situation of medium-sized companies in Lima through surveys conducted with companies that are most representative of the study sector throughout the investigation.
