Zinc Sulphide (ZnS) thin films have been deposited by chemical bath deposition method under controlled the preparative conditions at room temperature. In this project we have been studied the effect of concentration of sodium thiosulfate on the ZnS thin films. We have synthesized the different film of various concentration of anionic precursor. Structural and optical properties of the synthesized film were characterized by X ray diffractometer (XRD) and UV-Spectrophotometer respectively. The

From XRD, it was observed that the crystallinity of material get increases when we increases the concentration of sodium thiosulfate in the solution. The average transmittance of all films in the visible region of spectrum is found 85 %. The ZnS film act as a window material in the solar cell.
