Competitiveness (production function), Sectors (output approach), Business cycle (expenditure approach), General economic condition (main macroindices) and Catalysts (residual -all other factors) are taken into account. Preliminary results confirm to some extent earlier studies pointing to existing West-East Germany's discrepancies.
