Unitary Coset Conformal Field Theories Based on Non-Compact Groups

Conformal field theories based on non-compact groups have necessarily negative metric states. A set of first class constraints are imposed to eliminate all negative metric states. In ERST formulation, the Hilbert space of the constrained system is realized as physical states defined by QBRST iphys)=O. Several possible choices of the first class constraints are proposed to obtain unitary theories from current algebra based on non-compact groups.
