This study focuses on Faulkner's As I Lay Dying and Livanelis's One Cat, One Man, One Death with respect to the narration technique. This technique has been effectively used following the literary movement of Modernism. Both authors employ multiple narration successfully, with certain similarities and differences in the application of the technique. Faulkner uses fifteen different characters as narrators in As I Lay Dying; However, Livaneli confines his novel, One Cat, One Man, One Death, to two narrators. The application of this technique attracts the attention of the literary consumer to both studies.
