Fertility preservation is becoming increasingly important to improve the quality of life of cancer survivors. Although the guidelines state that discussion about fertility preservation should take place before starting cancer treatment, a variety of fertility preservation techniques are available at this time that can be used individually or together on the same patient to increase efficiency. Cryopreservation of eggs and embryos is now an established technique with limitations.
