Lagrangian velocity and acceleration auto-correlations in rotating turbulence

Rotating turbulence has often been studied by numerical simulations and analytical models. Experimental data is scarce and purely of Eulerian nature. In the present study, experiments on continuously forced turbulence subjected to background rotation are performed by means of 3D Particle Tracking Velocimetry. The data is processed in the Lagrangian as well as in the Eulerian frame. The background rotation is confirmed to induce two-dimensionalisation of the flow field, and the large-scales are
