QUANTIZATION ERRORS IN SAMPLED-DATA SYSTEMS WITH BACKSTEPPING CONTROLLERS

The present article deals with the problem of evaluating the effects of quantization on a nonlinear sampled-data control system. The control strategy is based on a suitable digital design of "backstepping" type controllers and it was proposed in a previous article. The advantage of this design is that it preserves, under sampling, the stabilizing performances imposed in the continuous-time design.
