Monoclonal Antibodies raised against transition state analogs have been shown to catalyze a number of reactions and so far more than fifty examples catalyzed by antibodies have been reported . The Research on Catalytic Antibody promises the advance in understanding reaction mechanisms and molecular recognition and their applications in biotechnology and medicine. This review will descrive the recent advances in the field of catalytic antibodies and discuss their potential applications to organic chemistry and medicine.
