EGG DEVELOPMENTAL STAGES OF TABANUS RUBIDUS (DIPTERA : TABANIDAE) FROM THE FIELD. This study is an effort to understand the egg developmental stages of Tabanus rubidus. Field caught flies were reared in the laboratory and divided into 7 groups according to the accounts of the rearing days (1, 5, 10, 20, 25 and 30 days) to observe their egg developmental stages in each group. more » ... loping eggs. After 25 days kept and reared in laboratory the flies have borne mature eggs which are ready to move down the oviduct for fertilization. Thus flies of 25 days after capture are capable to induce the opposite sexes to mate.
