As we go to press, we are looking forward to our first SMFS/MFN-sponsored sessions at the Modern Language Association annual meeting in San Francisco, Dec. 27-30. Those of you who will be at the MLA are warmly invited to attend these sessions and to propose session topics and/ or papers (to Anne Clark Bartlett) for next year and future years. Finally, I would like again to invite you to renew your subscription, when it comes due, for four or six years rather than the usual two. Members who pay for multiple subscription cycles will save themselves time, effort, and possible interruptions in their subscriptions between renewals. And the MFN will save personnel hours and the cost of mailing subscription renewals. Happy winter holidays to all.
