Medieval Feminist Newsletter
This issue of MFN contains a ballot on two important questions, so my principal message is a plea to vote! The ballot is at the back of this issue, with deadlines and mailing addresses included. First, you will be voting on the nominations to the advisory board, the smaller committee that handles MFN business on a dayto-day basis. Secondly, you will be voting on the proposal, endorsed by the advisory board, to change the name of our publication from MFN to Medieval Feminist Forum. The ballot
... rints the announcement from our spring issue #25 to sum up the reasoning behind the proposaL Please do send in this ballot and let us know your preferences for the future of this publication. As we go to press, we are looking forward to our first SMFS/MFN-sponsored sessions at the Modern Language Association annual meeting in San Francisco, Dec. 27-30. Those of you who will be at the MLA are warmly invited to attend these sessions and to propose session topics and/ or papers (to Anne Clark Bartlett) for next year and future years. Finally, I would like again to invite you to renew your subscription, when it comes due, for four or six years rather than the usual two. Members who pay for multiple subscription cycles will save themselves time, effort, and possible interruptions in their subscriptions between renewals. And the MFN will save personnel hours and the cost of mailing subscription renewals. Happy winter holidays to all.
