Optimization Opportunity for Mine Ventilation and Cooling Plant System at Maddahapara Granite Mine, Dinajpur, Bangladesh

Mine ventilation optimization and air flow management are two obligatory features of mine ventilation system. However, blasting creates lots of poisonous and harmful gases during mining operation. Additionally, mine worker faces obstacle due to the presence of fume and poisonous gas. This research work founds that Maddhapara ventilation system losses 20% of air on various circumstances. The outcome of this research optimizes the ventilation system in Maddahapara Granite Mine which increases air flow rate by installing an air-cooling plant. Maddahapara mine ventilation system should be optimized and controlled by using mine ventilation doors and maintenance of ventilation equipment.
