Inexperimentstherewerecomparedthecyclooxygenaseinhibitionbyindomethacinanddualcycloocygenaseandlipoxygenaseblockageby 4-thiazolidinonederivatives, capabletoreleasehydrogensulfidein small intestine. Itwasshownthatindomethacinwasaccompaniedbytheformationoflesions in the distal part ofsmall intestine, significantactivationofinducibleNO-synthase, thedecreaseofH2Sproduction, riseinmalonicdialdehydeconcentrationand activity of myeloperoxidase.
