Long-term follow-up of antibody titers against measles, mumps, and rubella in recipients of allogenic hematopoietic cell transplantations
2020
Outbreaks of viral infections, such as measles, are regularly observed and pose a serious threat to allogeneic HCT-recipients. The question how long cellular and humoral protective host immunity persists, and whether donor immunity can be transferred has not been clarified. Here, we present a retrospective analysis of humoral immunity, i.e. serial antibody titers against measles, mumps, and rubella in 331 patients who underwent allogeneic HCT at our single center between 2002-2015.
