The transport sector has certainly witnessed the latest developments in information and communication technologies (ICT). In this context the objective of the CPILOS project is to develop a technological platform, based on IT infrastructures and services, that can support critical processes, like secure tracking and tracing of goods, using video surveillance facilities with radio-frequency identification (RFID) support.
