This present paper considers the functional characterization of a porous disk which can be used as a pump. A centrifugal pump is used in a wide field, such as water cooling for personal computer, fuel cells, and blood pump. A centrifugal pump with a much lower specific speed than this has been developed. Then, we determine flow rate that the pump with porous disks of the different porosity. And, we confirmed that the pump performance of the porous disk depended on the porosity. Furthermore, we
