In this article, drawing from both interviews and secondary sources, we examine why Cambodia welcomes the rise of China when other states appear to be less enthusiastic. Despite the alarm in the region at China's assertiveness, Cambodia, unlike some other nation states, has chosen to bandwagon with China.
