By examining the mystical understanding and life in Islamic and Christianity which is the aim of this thesis research, it is to compare cultures for the centers where mystical experience is taught. This study is more about the behavioral changes expected of its members than the mental decency that the mysticism targets. These mystical groups will concentrate on what kind of program they have on people and what are their effects on the social context. The similarities between them and the differences between the two religious beliefs of mysticism will be investigated. In this context, it is foreseen to introduce the cults which are central to the mystical life, from the formation of the day-to-day traditions, to introduce the cults common in the two religions and to make a comparison between them. By Naqshbandi sect in Islam is widespread, common Benedictine sects in Christianity, will be examined in this study. Apart from spiritual training, every sect is suggested to be members in behaviors that will benefit social life. They identified different areas according to their own, and they are headed in different directions. What are the expectations of members of these orders? And what kind of behaviors do they expect? These changes, which the members of the sect earn, what kind of change and contribution does the society provide? Such questions will determine the direction of the thesis work.
