Excision repair cross-complementing 1 (ercc1) is reported to be involved in the sensitivity of cancer patients to platinum-based chemotherapy. The present study to evaluate the effects of ERCC1 expression on the chemosensitivity of platinum agents in breast cancer. ercc1 expression levels were measured by quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR).
