Surely the Trinitarian character of the Vatican Council II is HYLGHQW7KHH9DWLFDQQ&RXQFLOOZDVVWKHH¿UVWWFRXQFLOOLQQWKHHKLVWRU\\RIIWKHH&KXUFKKWRRGHDOO with the theology of the common priesthood and the laity. In the Dogmatic Constitution Lumen Gentium, it sets in relief the profound theology of incorporation into the church through Baptism, by which it participates in the common priesthood (LG 10), held in a relevant way through the sacraments (LG 11) and which transmits the supernatural sense of faith and the various charismas of the people of God (LG 12).
