Exopolysaccharides (EPS) are the large molecular weight carbohydrate polymers extracted from higher plants, algae, fungi and bacteria. The thermophilic Bacillus zhangzhounesis 2CA and Bacillus licheniformis 2CS used in the present study were isolated from Çermik hot springs.
