Comprehensive assessment of the accuracy of the data from near space meteorological rocket sounding

We use the data obtained from empirical forecast model and satellite remote sensing to analyze and assess the accuracy of the data obtained from first near space meteorological rocket sounding in Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center (JSLC) in November 2004. Analysis shows that the data of empirical forecast model has great difference from meteorological rocket sounding data for the middle-upper stratosphere.
