This lectio introduces the thesis 'This Is A Good Place': Tsimihety place making, knowledge hierarchies and intensifying conservation efforts in rural northeastern Madagascar. The study is concerned with the rapid rearrangement of nature and the intensification of land use in rural northeastern Madagascar.
