A Case Report of Coexisting Graves' Disease and Struma Ovarii

A 72-year-old woman, known case of Graves' disease with anti-thyroid drug hypersensitivity was sent for radioactive iodine ablation prior to surgical resection of an ovarian tumor. Her 24-hour radioactive iodine thyroid uptake was normal. Thus, radioactive iodine whole body scan was performed to diagnose whether struma ovarii was the cause of thyrotoxicosis. The scan showed an iodine avid ovarian mass, which was pathologically proved to be struma ovarii. After surgical resection, she had
