— In this paper, the current conditions of personalprotective equipment utilization in building construction workplaces in Myitkyina city is assessed by data collecting method. Twelve fundamental PPE practices were measured in 17 construction work sites. The gathered data were analyzed using SPSS and Microsoft Excel softwares. The results indicate that both the engineers and workers showed a certain amount of safety concerns although there were deficiencies in practicing the exact occupational safety regulations.
