Optimization of Dynamic Characteristics of Automatic-Firing Muzzle with Damping

In order to improve the inadequate firing accuracy of the existing prototype of a 30-mm caliper gun overhead weapon station, a tripleindex constrained optimization model with damper is developed with the consideration of a real-world operating environment. Furthermore, a method of deriving the characteristic parameters of the damper is proposed based on the triple indices, and the optimal damping parameters are obtained.
