Зроблені акценти на тому, що департамент захисту економіки Національної поліції України був укомплектований молодими співробітниками, які по тим чи іншим причинам ще не займалися рішенням цього питання, а саме контролем і запобіганням обігу підроблених грошових знаків, бо це комплекс заходів і вони включають не тільки призначення судово-технічної експертизи грошових знаків, а також профілактичну діяльність. Також в даній статі є спроба сформування ще одного важливого методичного правила експертного дослідження грошових знаків України, виготовлених за допомогою сучасних засобів оргтехніки. The analysis of expert practice shows that the more frequently assigned forensic examination is forensic examination of documents. The issues of organization and execution of technical forensic examinations of documents have a high level of theoretical elaboration, worked out methods and methodological recommendations for forensic experts and specialists. Recently, expert practice shows that the number of judicial or technical examinations of documents by courts or investigators of internal affairs of Ukraine in the investigation of crimes related to counterfeiting of Ukraine's money is decreasing. This is due to several issues. The first and most important problem is that the body which in the past was responsible for the control and prevention of counterfeit money circulation during the reform of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine was reorganized and its function was given to the Department of Economy of the National Police of Ukraine. This Department and the investigative bodies were mostly staffed with young police officers, who, in their practical work, may encounter some problematic issues in investigating counterfeiting of Ukraine and other countries. According to a survey of young National Police investigative officers, difficulties arise when formulating questions when assigning forensic documents to investigate counterfeit money offenses. The article deals with the peculiarities of the appointment and execution of forensic documents in the investigation of crimes related to counterfeiting of Ukrainian currency. The typical problems that arise when assigning or executing forensic documents are presented, and possible solutions are suggested. Also in this article there is an attempt to form another important methodological rule of expert study of Ukrainian banknotes made with modern office equipment: should be a comprehensive approach to solving the identification issue, interaction with other areas of forensic examination (examination of materials, substances and products, biological examination , dactyloscopic examination, phototechnical, portrait examination).
