Hahn--Mazurkiewicz revisited: a generalization

We generalize Hahn-Mazurkiewicz theorem from Peano continua to generalized Peano continua (locally connected, locally compact, connected, separable metric spaces) replacing the [0, 1] interval by the hedgehog. We also relate the number of "spines" of the hedgehog with compactifications with a finite remainder.
