... ientíficas em fontes como o Banco de Teses da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Capes) e os retornos destes pesquisadores a questionários online. Em uma análise qualiquantitativa, crítico-interpretativista, utilizando-se de procedimentos mistos como a pesquisa documental, pesquisa de campo e técnica bibliométrica, amparados pelo método Materialista Histórico Dialético, busca-se a tendência metodológica dos trabalhos estudados e pondera sobre a influência destas pesquisas nas políticas educacionais brasileiras em atendimento à formação dessa classe de trabalhadores. Conclui-se que sobressaem as pesquisas qualitativas, com ênfase nos estudos de caso, pesquisa documental e bibliográfica e fundamentadas nas teorias marxistas, progressistas e histórico-críticas. A tendência teórico-metodológica encontrada permite compreender a realidade sócio-histórica do aluno do Proeja pelo enfoque materialista, histórico e dialético e esclarece os fenômenos sociais, o trabalho e as lutas de classe em que se insere o sujeito trabalhador. This article reflects on the investigations in adult education in Brazil within the federal system, more specifically in the National Program for Integration of Professional Education with Basic Education in the Mode of Youth and Adults Education (Proeja). raises the theoretical and methodological currents that supported the scientific actions from sources such as Higher Education Personnel Improvement Coordination thesis database (Capes) and the return from these researchers to online questionnaires. In a qualitative and quantitative analysis, critical and interpretative, using mixed procedures such as desk research, field research and bibliometric technique, supported by Materialist Dialectics History method, searches the methodological trend of the studied works and ponders the influence of these researches in Brazilian educational policies in response to the formation of this class of workers. The conclusion is that these qualitative researches outstand, emphasizing case studies, documentary and bibliographic research based on Marxist, progressive and historical-critical theories. The theoretical and methodological trend found allows the comprehension of the socio-historical reality of the Proeja´s student by the materialistic, historical and dialectical approach and explains social phenomena, labor and class struggles in which this worker is inserted.
