The paper contrasts and analyses the relationship between the optimum water content, the maximum dry unit weight, the unconfined compressive strength and CBR with different ratio of added lime after expansive soils have been improved. The experiment confirms the optimal ratio of added lime and the result of the experiment is significant to similar projects.
